A little tricky to put together but is a powerful model. 40 mm base is primarily for display though most people wouldn’t have a problem if you played on that base as it gives no advantage. Also comes with 35mm “playable” base and can easily be magnetized to use either base - put him on the one plank and magnetize from there Read rules carefully! As of 1/20/2020 it states he can be allied into any faction of order grand alliance and that point cost can be ignored but no other allies can be used. This means you still get faction ability. He can fit in with any mix of order allied army (meaning no specific faction ability) In azyr it won’t allow you to put him with anything but grand order alliance army, though. So to keep up with points just set it up as grand alliance order army and make sure he’s the only model that’s not part of your faction.

This model comes with 2 stands, a large one (the one on the box art) and a smaller one with gotrek standing on a plank of wood. The large one is for a showcase, and the small one is for gameplay. The board is a great platform for magnetizing though so you can easily do both. Great looking model! Crazy rule set, and surprisingly generous painting surfaces. You will have some fun with this one!
