Like all the kits from Rokr this is a kit well worth the fun of building. The pieces part from the panels with ease and the parts are very accurate but there are some spares to cover the odd breakage. This is not a build for the beginner and some parts need some force particularly the shaft sleeves the hold the shafts for the globes. It is the first kit I have seen that shows the use of a hammer in the construction for instance. The parts include a novel tool to ensure the accurate placing of gears and other parts on the shafts which is a great help. The music box movement is of good quality and the music easily identifiable, not always the case. All in all a good build that deserves not to be rushed in order finish up with the delightful unit shown in the promos.

I love making these and find it very therapeutic. This brand is the best to make and worth the little bit extra you pay compared to cheap alternatives. All the pieces snap off the frames easily and not had one break yet. They go together really well and the model feels really solid once it's made.

Bought for a Christmas present for my daughter. She started building it straight away on Christmas Day and thought she had a couple of bits missing so I emailed the supplier, expecting a reply after the holiday period but I got a reply within a couple of hours offering to send the missing parts straight away. It turned out the parts weren’t missing at all, she’d just mislaid them. She built it within a few hours and it’s really lovely. Extremely good quality and fun to build but not too easy. I love the design of this item, with clockwork movement and animated planets, it’s interesting. Down side is because there so many parts to assemble, may I suggest you assemble it in stages. It may take longer to assemble, but at least you know where what stage you’re at?

Really enjoyed building this - I found it great for concentration and patience in my middle age - also for a bit of problem solving! Took my time over it and felt very pleased with my achievement on finishing. Will be buying more of these models. Visual instructions are quite clear but if you do get stuck, there are some good videos on You Tube to help you out. Nice hobby to have.
