I bought this for my husband for Christmas, he was too busy to do it until the other day . He finished it last night, and it is absolutely beautiful . The wood is great quality and it goes together with such precision - he's an engineer , so he really appreciated how perfectly it's made , and how well it's designed. It's very intricate, it's not for somebody who wants to chuck something together , it requires patience and care , but that's the beauty of it. He followed the instructions to the letter, diagrams not words, and each stage was perfectly sequenced . He glued a few of the pieces just to make sure that they held , but they all slot together so well that it was just an extra precaution. I read a few reviews that said the pieces and the wood are flimsy - the wood isn't at all, some of the pieces are delicate but not flimsy. It's so clever the way it works, it's fascinating to watch the balls go round the system. Great value for money , real craftsmanship , I shall be buying him another one, different model, for his birthday. Now we have to decide where to put it , because it deserves to be seen!

Good sturdy pieces that fit together perfectly. Some pieces are a bit delicate but once you take care you should be fine. I did break one piece but a bit of wood glue fixed it perfectly. Would highly recommend this product.

Some of the wood was a little difficult to break. However it didn’t matter too much. Assembly worked well, works effectively once assembled. Really satisfying once built.

Great little gadget. Very well made and easy to pop the parts out of the sheets of plywood that you are supplied. Took about 1 evening to build hence the lower rating for value as I would have expected this to take longer to build. I do like the fact that the ball bearings go down 2 different routes which is not easy to see from the photos or video. Great for a project to make with the kids and is a nice decorative piece to have in my living room. Already friends have commented on this and are very impressed when they see it in action.

The media could not be loaded. "Magnificent" and "Phenomenal" are the adjectives my husband used about this wonderful model kit which I gave him for his 75th birthday. He loved building it and now can't stop playing with it! He has told me over and over how well-designed it is (magnificent co-ordination of the marble-timing!) and the fact that we have rated ease of assembly at 3 is no detriment as the challenge is part of the fun. His advice? "You've got to really, really concentrate and do it exactly as the instructions say." Fantastic and highly recommended!

The detailed instruction booklet meant that constructing this item was not difficult, though some of the parts were more fragile than I thought and I had to resort to one or two glued repairs in the process. However there are spares present for some parts as well. The parts are made to tight tolerances and fit together very solidly. The end result is a satisfying manually driven ball bearing run, though it did need to be put on a firm base that was adjusted in level to allow the balls to run down properly from the top of the "wheel" into the "bucket lift". Highly recommended!

My son took several days to build this in stages and was quite absorbed in the building work for an hour at a time. Encouraged a patient careful approach to building and he enjoyed being able to easily see the progress he’d made as he went along. Finished product is surprisingly robust and the marbles move around in the way intended without having to nudge and wiggle bits.

To be honest, I did have a good time with the marble puzzle. I am retired, and took my time assembling. Did have to use my magnifying glass a few times. Sadly I broke a few too many pieces, 2 kinds of glue, and cannot be fixed. But, again……..I enjoyed it.

Ich habe diese Kugelbahn für meinen 9-jährigen Enkelsohn zu seinem Geburtstag bestellt. Wir wahren beide erstaunt wie viele Teile zu so einer Bahn gehören. Und dennoch haben wir uns ans Werk gemacht. Die Beschreibung ist sehr umfassend, leider in englisch. Das ist ein kleiner Mangel. Wir haben es trotzdem geschafft. Natürlich nicht in 4 Stunden. Es hat uns viel Spaß bereitet. Die Mechanik ist sehr interessant. Ein sehr gutes Produkt. Wir werden uns sicher an ein weiteres Modell dieser Baureihe wagen.
